By using EcoAwareness you're agreeing to these terms. They're short because we wrote them ourselves, for students. If anything is unclear, email us — we'll actually answer.
Anyone interested in climate action in Qatar — students, schools, NGOs, and companies are all welcome. If you're under 13 we need a parent or guardian's permission before you create an account.
One account per person. Keep your password secret — if someone logs in as you, anything they do counts as you. Tell us immediately if you think your account was compromised.
If you do any of these we'll warn you, and if it keeps happening we'll suspend or delete your account. Serious violations may be reported to your school or the appropriate authorities.
Hours become "verified" only when an organizer confirms you were there. Unverified hours still appear on your profile but are clearly marked. Your Eco ID certificate only counts verified hours — that's what makes it worth something.
Anything you write on the platform — profile bios, event reviews, comments — stays yours. You just give us permission to display it on EcoAwareness. We may remove content that violates these terms.
The EcoAwareness name, logo, design, and code belong to us. You can screenshot, link to us, and talk about us — but don't copy our brand or clone the product.
We work hard to keep the platform running, but we can't promise zero downtime. We're not liable for lost opportunities caused by outages, bugs, or things outside our control. We'll always do our best to fix things fast and be transparent about what happened.
If we change anything significant we'll email you and post a notice on the site at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree with the change, you can close your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. If there's a disagreement we can't work out together, it'll be resolved in the courts of Doha.
